President's Message 

Dear Colleagues,

 

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the “1st Balkan Conference on Robotic Assisted Bronchoscopy” organized by the A' Interventional Pulmonology Dept. of the European Interbalkan Medical  Center, on 2-3 October 2026 in Thessaloniki, Greece.

As RAB represents an exciting development, particularly in the evaluation of peripheral pulmonary lesions, during this conference we aim to explore its potential diagnostic accuracy and evaluate its role in the management of early lung cancer. 

The conference is mainly aimed at chest physicians, thoracic surgeons and oncologists, who wish to be familiar on diagnostic and therapeutic possibilities of RAB. Through lectures and live presentations by distinguished experts from all over the world we hope to foster collaboration and stimulate further research in this promising field. I sincerely hope that this conference will serve as a valuable first encounter with RAB to many colleagues from Greece and other neighboring countries and will contribute to the advancement of minimally invasive lung procedures in our region.
